Harry Peacock was born in London in August 1978. His father is comic actor Trevor Peacock (whose son he played in an episode of television drama 'Kingdom') and his older brother the actor Daniel Peacock. After training Harry made his television debut in 2000 and in 2003, whilst taking part in a National Theatre studio workshop production , 'Heart of a Dog', met actress Katherine Parkinson - who was playing the dog - and they were engaged three years later, marrying in 2009. They have two daughters Dora and Gwen. The couple are also directors of Big Nose Productions. Harry has appeared on stage at the Royal Court in the play 'Chicken Soup With Barley' in 2011 but is arguably best known for his comic roles on television, particularly the satirical 'Star Stories', impersonating a host of celebrities and the sitcom 'Toast of London' as smug actor Ray Purchase - in 2014 both Harry and Matt Berry who plays his rival Toast were nominated for the best comedy breakthrough award. In 2015 he appeared in the BBC TV sitcom 'The Kennedys' with Katherine, though not playing a married couple.

His portrayal of Data in Star Trek: First Contact and of Dr. Brackish Okun in Independence Day, both in 1996, earned him a Saturn Award and Saturn Award nomination respectively.He has also enjoyed a career in the theatre and as a musician.Brent Jay Spiner was born February 2, 1949 in Houston, Texas to Sylvia and Jack Spiner, who owned a furniture store. After his father's death, Spiner was adopted by Sylvia's second husband, Sol Mintz, whose surname he used between 1955 and 1975. Spiner was raised Jewish. He attended Bellaire High School, Bellaire, Texas. Spiner became active on the Bellaire Speech team, winning the national championship in dramatic interpretation. He attended the University of Houston where he performed in local theatre.

It is unknown whether Peña was named after the town of her birth. Peña graduated from New York's High School of Performing Arts in 1977. Her classmates included Ving Rhames, alongside whom she would later co-star in Jacob's Ladder, and Esai Morales, alongside whom she would later co-star in La Bamba. She is also a founding member of the Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors.In 1979, Peña appeared in her first film, El Super, "an exceptionally moving and melancholy comedy about a family of lower-middle-class Cuban refugees attempting to adjust to life in Spanish Harlem.", New York City.
