Nancy Jewel McDonie is an American, South Korean-based member of the South-Korean girl group, Momoland. Nancy’s father is American and her mother is Korean. She was born in Daegu, South Korea but she grew up and was raised in the United States but returned to South Korea to attend high school. She auditioned in Korea’s Got Talent with her friends, and they were known as Cutiepies. She has also appeared in some variety shows like Tooniverse Makirae Show. She then became part of a 2016 reality show FINDING MOMOLAND. She trained for 6 years –which marks her as the youngest member of the group with the most experience. In 2019, Nancy confirmed that she changed her official Korean name from Lee Seung Ri to Lee Geu Roo.

After beginning his career in musical theatre, for many years Lee was relegated to minor and supporting roles onscreen, only getting to play lead characters in one-act dramas on KBS Drama City and MBC Best Theater. In one such Best Theater project, he worked with TV director Lee Yoon-jung on Taereung National Village (2005), which led to him being cast in her later series Coffee Prince in 2007. Moon first attracted attention in 2008 in her supporting role as a gisaeng in Painter of the Wind. She was next cast in Brilliant Legacy, one of the top-rated Korean dramas of 2009. 2011 marked Moon's career breakthrough, with leading roles in the television period drama The Princess' Man and the action blockbuster War of the Arrows; both were critical and commercial hits, with Arrows as the highest grossing Korean film of the year. For her performance in the latter, Moon won Best New Actress at the Grand Bell Awards and the Blue Dragon Film Awards. Moon's other notable television series include the revenge melodrama The Innocent Man (2012) and the humanistic medical drama Good Doctor (2013).
